A Wedding at Bowland Tipis: A Cosy Forest of Bowland Celebration
There are some wedding venues that just have something about them, and Bowland Tipis is definitely one of them.
I recently had the pleasure of taking Nook Booth to a wedding at this beautiful tipi wedding venue near Chipping, in the heart of the Forest of Bowland.
The weather wasn't exactly on our side that day, but honestly, it didn't matter.
Once everyone was inside the tipis, the atmosphere was warm, relaxed and incredibly welcoming.

Set amongst the beautiful countryside of the Ribble Valley, Bowland Tipis offers something a little different from a traditional wedding venue.
The venue is made up of five giant tipis surrounded by woodland and countryside, creating a relaxed, festival-inspired setting for weddings and celebrations.
And I think this wedding showed exactly why a tipi wedding can work so well — even when the weather isn't behaving.
Outside, it was wet and miserable.
Inside, it was the complete opposite.
The tipis felt warm and cosy, everyone was together and there was a brilliant atmosphere throughout the day.
That's something I really liked about Bowland Tipis. It doesn't feel like you're simply hiring a room for the day. The whole setting becomes part of the experience.
Setting up Nook Booth
Once I arrived, it was time to get Nook Booth set up.
I wasn't sure exactly how the booth would look inside the tipis before arriving, but it fitted in brilliantly.
The wooden finish, professional lighting and overall style of Nook Booth worked really well against the rustic surroundings.
Rather than looking like something that had just been dropped into the corner of the venue, it felt like it belonged there.
And then the guests started using it!
The booth soon became part of the evening, with friends and family getting together, having a laugh and creating some brilliant photos.
For me, that's what a wedding photo booth should be about.
It's not just about taking a photograph.
It's about giving people something to do together — getting the people who might not have spoken all day into the same photo and creating memories that they can take home with them.
A brilliant team behind the day
It's always noticeable when a venue has a great team behind it.
The staff at Bowland Tipis were fantastic, as were the other suppliers involved in the wedding.
Everyone was friendly, helpful and clearly focused on making sure the couple had the best possible day.
I've worked at a number of different wedding venues with Nook Booth, and it's always a pleasure when you arrive somewhere and immediately feel that you're part of a team rather than just another supplier.
Bowland Tipis definitely had that feeling.
